Biography:

Lando Calrissian, a charismatic gambler and entrepreneur, is a prominent character in the Star Wars Original Trilogy. He first appeared in The Empire Strikes Back as the administrator of Cloud City, a tibanna gas mining colony.

Initially betraying Han Solo to the Empire, Lando experiences a change of heart and redeems himself by helping Princess Leia and Chewbacca escape. This pivotal decision transforms him into a valuable ally of the Rebel Alliance.

By the time of Return of the Jedi, Lando has risen to the rank of General. He plays a crucial role in the Battle of Endor, piloting the Millennium Falcon and ultimately destroying the second Death Star, securing a significant victory for the Rebellion.
